ARHT's Chopper Challenge

Our Chopper challenge program has been running since 2007, and involves Schools, and more recently, businesses within our coverage area.

Our rescue crews maintain the high level of physical and mental fitness necessary to accomplish the many rescues they carry out each year, and Chopper Challenge gives school pupils and business owners and employees alike, the opportunity to train alongside them with the ultimate aim of completeing a six-week course culminating in a final 'test'. Recently intorduced to the Corporate sector, the challenge promotes team-building, health and well-being and encourages community support and fundraising.

The Chopper Challenge website is, as with this main ARHT site, also administered in-house by our staff.

However, both sites are hosted free-of-charge by the New Zealand company 3Bit Solutions, who also developed (and host) the individual 'Current Challenge' Support sites.
