Calling Past Patients!

Calling Past Patients!

In the 47 years that we have been in service, we have attended over 18,000 rescue missions in the Greater Auckland area, including Rodney, Coromandel and the Gulf Islands.

From our humble beginnings with Surf Lifesaving in a Hiller 12e helicopter, we have come a long way and seen many changes. From one helicopter to two, our operations and crews have evolved in numerous ways over the years too, as well as the services we provide.

But one thing that has never changed is our dedication to our patients and that is to provide them with a world-class rescue helicopter service, available 24/7. Our fulfilment is in seeing a life saved and as a rescue by helicopter is not something that everyone will experience in their lifetime, it makes the connection we have with our patients a very special one.

To celebrate this union, we will be holding our 2nd Rescue Reunion event on Sunday, 5 November from 12 pm to 3 pm, at our helicopter base in Mechanics Bay, Auckland. This is a chance for our patients and crew to meet again, in much better circumstances.

A light lunch will be provided, along with demonstrations, displays, and stories from some of our previous patients.

If you are a past patient of ours, we would love to see you again. To register and enjoy this day with us, please RSVP (by Friday, 20 October 2017) to:

Ph:    (09) 950 7222 / 021 2748458

PLEASE NOTE - Due to the capacity of the hangar, space will be limited and attendance is on a first in/first served basis.

We hope to see you there.
