Game Changer for Crew Training

Our new Rear Cabin Procedure Trainer (RCPT) was recently installed at Ardmore Base thanks to the incredible work by Culham Engineering in Whangārei.

The RCPT is a game changer for us as it replicates the AW169 helicopter’s rear cabin and allows our crew to sharpen their skills and refine procedures all without needing to utilise operational aircraft. It will also provide the opportunity for clinical training when on the ground, in a controlled environment. This allows us to train in a safe and highly effective way, helping to improve clinical and flight safety.
