HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)

Our new crew took on HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) course at the Hutchwilco Marine Safety Training facility.

This challenging course prepares them for the unlikely event of a helicopter landing in water. It offers excellent insight into the hazards associated with an aircraft water landing. The course includes both theoretical sessions covering underwater escape and sea survival, along with practical wet drills in the custom-built simulator. Giving crew the skills and confidence to get out safely.

It's all part of making sure they're ready for anything when out saving lives.
