It's National Blood Donor Week, so two of our pilots rolled up their sleeves at New Zealand Blood Service Epsom to give blood and plasma (also known as liquid gold!)
As a rescue helicopter service, we carry and administer blood onboard our aircraft to critically injured patients. It’s a vital part of the advanced aeromedical care we provide.
